Internal Audit and Big Data Analytic

In support of the Merdeka Campus Learning Program (MBKM) with the aim of providing students with not only theoretical knowledge but also knowledge regarding the practical business world, Accounting Study Program of UNPAR’s Faculty of Economics held a general lecture with the topic “Internal Audit and Big Data Analytic” on November 26, 2021. The topic was explained by two speakers who are practitioners in the industry, namely Mr. Adrianto Nursalim (Head of Internal Audit of DBS Bank Indonesia) who is also an alumnus of UNPAR’s Accounting Study Program and Mr. Sulaiman (Head of Information Technology Internal Audit team DBS Bank Indonesia).

This lecture was held virtually via zoom meeting and attended by students and lecturers from the Accounting Study Program of UNPAR’s Faculty of Economics. The series of events in this general lecture included: opening remarks by Dr. Budiana Gomulia (Dean of UNPAR’s Faculty of Economic), prayers by Albert Vicky (student of Accounting Study Program of UNPAR’s Faculty of Economics), topic discussion moderated by Dr. Amelia Setiawan, SE., M.Ak., CA, CISA including: internal audit process – Bank, Data analytics, usage of data in internal auditing, optimizing data usage in internal auditing, agile auditing, and cyber security auditing, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session. We could see the students oozing with enthusiasm to participate in the general lecture. The event was closed by awarding e-certificate symbolically to Mr. Adrianto and Mr. Sulaiman, which then followed by prayer that was once again led by Albert Vicky.
