The Faculty of Economics UNPAR turns 67 years old on January 17, 2022, the DIES celebration was held on Thursday, January 27, 2022. DIES Natalis FE UNPAR has 3 series of events, namely: oration, dedication, and reception. Oratio DIES Natalis was celebrated by the entire academic community of FE UNPAR, partners, and lecturers from other faculties. The Faculty of Economics UNPAR consists of 4 departments, among others: Accounting Department, Management Department, and Economics Department. This year’s DIES Natalis was held in a hybrid manner, namely offline, limited to the committee in the FE Hall building and online through the Zoom application and broadcast live on youtube. The 67th FE DIES Natalis raised the theme “Implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka in Higher Education in Responding to the Challenges of Industry 4.0”. This theme was raised because of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which is characterized by increasingly rapid technological developments and an environment characterized by Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA). As an effort to prepare graduates who are resilient in facing the social, cultural, world of work, and technological changes that are very fast and uncertain, the Faculty of Economics of Parahyangan Catholic University seeks to prepare a curriculum that can facilitate these changes by creating a learning culture that is not restrictive, flexible, innovative, and in accordance with student needs.
The series of events at the 67th DIES Natalis FE UNPAR consisted of: playback of Indonesia Raya, UNPAR Hymn, and FE UNPAR MARS, opening prayer led by Mrs. Cicilia Susilowati (Vice Chairperson of DIES FE), regional dances performed by students who are members of Listra, remarks from Mrs. Felisia, SE, M.AK., CIMA (Chairperson of DIES FE), remarks from Mr. Alijoyo (Chairperson of the FE Alumni Association), remarks from Mr. Ivan Sadik (Chairperson of the UNPAR Alumni Association), remarks from Mr. Mangadar Situmorang, Ph.D (Rector of UNPAR), remarks from Pst B. Hendra Kimawan, OSC, LTh (Chairperson of the UNPAR Foundation Board), remarks from Mrs. Dr. Budiana Gomulia, Dra., M.Si (Dean of FE UNPAR), submission of the dean’s report, scientific oration delivered by Mrs. Dr. Sylvia Fettry Elvira Maratno, SE., SH., M.Si, Ak (Chairperson of the Accounting Science Department) with the topic “Implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka in Higher Education in Responding to Industry 4.0 Challenges”, awarding plaques and certificates to the Orator, Mrs. Sylvia Fettry, awards to students from four study programs, namely: Accounting, Management, Development Economics, and Corporate Management, screening of video presentations from four associations, dances performed by dancers from Rawasari Village who are community service partners, cake cutting ceremony, and ending with a closing prayer led by Mr. Birnardus Briandika. The series of events were guided by presenters including Mrs. Atty Yuniawati, SE, MBA, and Chandra. The 67th DIES FE event was held successfully and lively.
