Opening Ceremony of the EY Digital Audit Internship and UNPAR 2021/2022

On Monday, September 13, 2021, a digital audit internship opening ceremony was held. This internship program is a collaboration between KAP Purwantono, Sungkoro & Surja (Ernst & Young Global Limited) Indonesia and the Accounting Study Program of UNPAR’s Faculty of Economics. The event began with the opening remarks by Ms. Julianingsih Tan (Assurance Service Line Leader of EY Indonesia), Dr. Budiana Gomulia, Dra., M.Si. (Dean of the Faculty of Economics at UNPAR), and Mr. Sinarta S. (Talent Partner of EY Indonesia). The next session was an explanation of the Professional Career Development Program by Mr. Daniel Chandra (EY Senior Manager), an explanation of EY’s digital audit by Mr. Yonathan Setiawan (EY Digital Leader), moderated by Mrs. Ratnawati Tano (EY Senior Manager), followed by a sharing session from Accounting Study Program alumni who have become auditors at EY, and a sharing session of internship representatives. The event ended with a group photo session.

This internship program was attended by the 25 best students who had passed the selection. The duration of the internship program is 1 semester, from September 13, 2021, to February 4, 2022, and is equivalent to 20 credits. On February 4, 2022, the final assessment of students who can continue the 2-year work contract with EY Indonesia will be announced.

The internship program is carried out online with a series of activities consisting of classroom training, on-the-job training, performance appraisal and presentation, an apprenticeship report, and an announcement of employment with EY Indonesia. Some of the benefits that will be obtained by apprentices are education scholarships, honorarium, BPJS, the ability to use EY audit tools, unlimited access to the Udemy learning platform, and the opportunity to join the program and get an MBA degree.
