The UNPAR Accounting Competition Team Wins Second Place at ASAC 2021 UAJY

The Team from Parahyangan Catholic University was represented by the “Newbiez” consisting of Milka Prasetya Terutama (2017130032), Natasha Dirdjosapoetro (6041801050), Lulu Carissa Soegiharto (6041801109) and won 2nd place in the Atma Jaya Yogyakarta Supreme Accounting Competition (ASAC) at the national level which was held online on March 25-26, 2021.

43 teams from various universities in Indonesia registered for the preliminary round of this competition on March 17, 2021. From the 43 teams that joined, 12 teams were chosen in the preliminary round which consisted of two parts, which was the individual test in the form of theoretical questions and the teamwork test in the form of quantitative problems. Then, the nine teams with the highest scores advanced to the semifinal round which consisted of an individual test in the form of theoretical questions and a teamwork test in the form of calculation questions. The final stage brings in the five best teams. This stage is in the form of presentations related to the cases given as well as a question and answer session with the judges regarding digital tax with the title “Potensi Pajak Digital Pada Penerimaan di Indonesia” or “Potential of Digital Tax on Revenue in Indonesia”. This experience has become a motivation for the UNPAR Accounting Competition Team to continue to excel at the national level.
