Specific Industry Audit class.

Wednesday, January 5, 2022, was the last meeting of the Specific Industry Audit class. Unlike the previous meetings, in this session four groups of 5 members each made presentations on audits by the previously determined industries. The industries discussed in this session were Real Estate, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, E-Commerce, Resto and Hotel. Discussion products include the company’s environmental and business conditions, highlights of the company’s financial statements, as well as audit risks and audit procedures to respond to these risks.

              At the end of each group’s presentation, a question and answer session was held which allowed other groups and Mr. Budi Susanto as Head of Audit & Assurance to ask questions to the group that was presenting. The question and answer session was followed by students actively and enthusiastically as well as being held in two directions in the form of discussion.  Afterward, Mr. Budi Susanto conducted a wrap-up and provided brief explanations that helped students deepen their knowledge. Holding this session, it is hoped that it can increase students’ knowledge about auditing and can train students’ ability and confidence in making presentations.
