Visiting Prof. Kanji Tanimoto (School of Commerce Waseda University)

Visiting Prof.Kanji Tanimoto was held in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year which consisted of a series of activities:

Team Teaching Class of Management Accounting Capita Selecta Course with Special Topics: Accounting and Sustainability Management which is a collaboration between the Accounting Department of Catholic University of Indonesia and the School of Commerce Waseda University Japan (March 2 – 5, 2020). With 140 participants ≈ 4 classes. Eight meetings were presented by Prof. Kanji Tanimoto and the remaining six meetings by Dr. Paulina Permatasari, M.Ak., CMA, CSRS, CSRA. Some of the sub-topics presented by Prof. Kanji Tanimoto in the eight meetings included: Sustainable Development – overview, Stakeholder engagement – Basic Theory, Stakeholder management – stakeholder relationship, Stakeholder theory – stakeholder engagement, Corporate Social Responsibility – Background, Corporate Social Responsibility – Definition, Corporate Social Responsibility – International Standard, Corporate Social Responsibility – Supply Chain. In addition to the presentation of the material, Prof. Kanji also delivered case studies and implementation of the concept of sustainability in Japan.
