The Accounting Study Program of the Faculty of Economics, Parahyangan Catholic University in collaboration with ACCA held a webinar with the topic Future Ready: Accountantcy Careers in the 2020s on September 21, 2020. The webinar event began with a welcoming speech by Mr. Ivan Prasetya, SE, MSM.., M.Eng as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, the next session was a sharing session presentation by Ms. Dames Nurceny (Business Relationship Manager ACCA Indonesia), presentation of accountancy careers material by Mr. Manish Gidwani (ACCA Member, CEO and Founder of London School of Accountancy and Finance, LSAF) regarding Industry 4.0, disruption in industrial space, blockchain for the finance industry, Industry 4.0 disrupts the accounting profession, the five zones of future roles of accounting professionals. The event ended with a question and answer session between the participants and the speakers.  The webinar event was attended by lecturers and students totaling 245 participants. This webinar was held using the google meet platform and broadcast live via the Unpar youtube channel. It is hoped that participants who take part in the webinar event can obtain information about ACCA as a global organization for professional accountants, where Unpar is one of the exam centers, students can also obtain information about the accounting profession in Industry 4.0 so that they can prepare themselves for technological developments.
