SIAP for New Students for the 2020/2021 Academic Year

  • The student orientation period known as Initiation and Adaptation (SIAP) is somewhat different from previous years. The existence of the covid 19 pandemic raises concerns about the spread of the pandemic in the crowd so it is not possible to do it face-to-face. However, the enthusiasm to welcome the new students of the class of 2020 has not diminished. The SIAP event can still be carried out by utilizing information technology in a digital network. The SIAP event is held continuously for three days, namely September 9, 2020 to September 11, 2020 which must be attended by new students as a whole. On the first day, Unpar officially welcomed new students and introduced Unpar’s Spirituality and Basic Values (SINDU) which guide the life and activities of the entire Unpar academic community. On the second day, students were introduced to the Faculty of Economics, with a series of events as follows: Welcome from Mrs. Dr.Budiana Gomulia (Dean of the Faculty of Economics), introduction to the faculty, campus environment, room tour of the Faculty of Economics, explanation of academic, financial, student affairs, explanation of online lecture ethics, national insight material.  The SIAP event was followed by an event from the Accounting Undergraduate Study Program, which consisted of: Remarks from Dr. Paulina Permatasari, SE, M.Ak, CMA, CSRS, CSRA (Chairperson of the Accounting Department, remarks from Dr. Sylvia Fettry E.M, SE, SH, M.Si, Ak (Chairperson of the Accounting Undergraduate Study Program), curriculum explanation by the Chairperson of the Accounting Study Program, introduction of lecturers, and presentation of accounting undergraduate student association activities. On the last day, students are invited to dive into the world of student affairs that will help their self-development process.
