UNPAR ACCOUNTING COMPETITION TEAM WINS 1ST PLACE IN PRASETIYA MULYA ACCOUNTING FESTIVAL

Exciting news came from the Faculty of Economics, Parahyangan Catholic University. Another achievement was made by the Accounting Study Program. The UNPAR Accounting Competition Team represented by Annisa Maharani (2017130048), Felicia Valentina (2017130055), and Sylvia Agustine (2017130156) won first place in the Prasetiya Mulya Accounting Festival (PMAF) event held on September 11-12, 2020. PMAF 2020 is a national accounting quiz competition organized by Prasetiya Mulya University as one of the series of ASA Festival 2020. The theme of PMAF this time was “Facing New Revolution, One Step Forward”. In its implementation, this competition collaborated with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Participants from PMAF 2020 consisted of 41 teams from various universities spread throughout Indonesia. Before competing in the last round, namely the final round, 41 PMAF 2020 participants must go through the Main Round which consists of 2 sections, namely Theoretical Thinking and Betting Game, then followed by the semifinal round which was attended by 12 teams in the form of an escape room, and then the 4 best teams will compete in the final round in the form of case presentations. The 1st place was won by Team Intangible Assets from Parahyangan Catholic University, followed by Team TSM1 from Trisakti School of Management, 3rd place from Team YAS from Airlangga University, and the last place was occupied by Team Hanabi from the University of Indonesia.
